Award-winning FD moves on
by Catherine Woods - Tuesday, 15th July 2008 -
Mike Timmins, the former finance director of currency management firm Record, has announced his retirement.
Timmins is, of course, the winner of this year’s Real FD/CBI Outside the FTSE 350 FD of the Year. He was instrumental in last year’s flotation of Record (which incidentally was ranked 25th in the Real Business Hot 100 list for 2008).
Timmins will be replaced by Paul Sheriff.
Paying tribute to Timmins, Record founder Neil Record, says: “I would also like to thank Mike Timmins for his tremendous contribution to the business over 16 years. Mike's contribution was recognised this year by the award of Outside the FTSE 350 FD of the Year at the CBI/RealFD awards. My colleagues and I wish him well in his retirement."
Well said.
