Cowdery to float Resolution

Insurance entrepreneur Clive Cowdery is making plans to float his company, Resolution, next month.

Resolution buys and turns around troubled financial companies; the Times reports that former head of the Financial Services Authority John Tiner will help run the listed entity.

Cowdery made headlines earlier in the year when he went after struggling UK lender Bradford & Bingley.
