Cloud cover lingers over City

I was in Egypt for the last 10 days and I’m pleased to say I’ve returned with some much-needed colour.

(Stay with me, readers. This blog isn’t just about my tan. There is a point.)

The sun shone every day of the break, providing respite from the cold of England and putting me in a perpetually good mood (the exception being the day I suffered from severe Cairo belly). City faces loss of 30,000 jobs in a year of bloodlett8ing
CBI cuts growth forecast to 1.8 per cent
Mining stocks dive
Market falls adds £40bn to UK pensions deficit3i quits early-stage investment

*Sigh*

Back to reality...
