About us

Our mission at RealFD.net is to connect senior financial decision makers in the UK. We aim to be the preferred source of information for Britain’s community of finance directors in companies of every size.

Real FD was launched as a monthly magazine in 2001. In 2007, the decision was taken to cease production of the magazine and replace it with www.realfd.net – an online information source.

The website is open to everyone and is updated throughout the day with new stories about FDs, financial controllers and managers, and the issues that affect them.

At RealFD.net you get:

* Daily insights on the key areas of: controlling your cash, corporate finance, communications and IR, risk, leading the finance team, and operations

* A weekly e-mail newsletter

* RealFD.net editor’s blog

* Career articles on how to get ahead and who’s moving jobs

* Profiles on FDs and other business leaders

* New columns each week from our columnists

* Six-year searchable archive of Real FD articles

RealFD.net also hosts two events a year – the FD’s Excellence Awards and the Human Capital Awards (in conjunction with the CBI).

RealFD.net joins RealBusiness.co.uk, RealDeals.eu.com and RealIR.net, each providing up-to-date business news and information to entrepreneurs and owner-directors, European private equity professionals and senior financial and IR professionals. They are published by Caspian Publishing. To find out more about Caspian Publishing, click here
