CFO watch – Tidjane Thiam

Tidjane Thiam has joined Prudential as chief financial officer.

Thiam replaces Philip Broadley who was CFO for eight years. He will remain on the board until the annual general meeting on 15 May 2008 and will leave the group at the end of that month.

Thiam was previously chief executive officer of Aviva Europe. He joins the Prudential board with immediate effect.
